JEANNE R. (BRIEN) GERVAIS
75, of Wakefield St., West Warwick passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at home. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Chagnon) Brien. Jeanne was a clerk in the meter reading department at Providence Gas Co. for more than 20 years until her retirement. She was an active parishioner at St. Joseph's Church in West Warwick and an avid bingo and card player. She is survived by her sons, Edward T. Gervais and his wife Bethany of Cranston, David R. Gervais and his wife Kristine of Johnston and mother of the late Deborah Humphrey. She was the grandmother of Samantha, Nikkilee, Hunter and Hannah and great grandmother of Tori and Taylor. Jeanne was also the sister of Gloria Lennon, Raymond Brien,, Norman Brien and the late Eva Landry, Theresa Hennesey, Rita Cournoyer, Blanche Ursillo and Doris DeBaldo. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, Providence St., West Warwick at 10am. VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-8pm. Interment will take place in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick.
