Jean M. (Bulger) Provost

84, of Chestnut Ave, Narragansett, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2021 at home.  She was the wife of the late Alfred J Provost.

Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Gervase and Elizabeth (Christoph) Bulger.  Mrs. Provost had a lifelong love of care giving and nursing.   She graduated from Pawtucket Memorial School of Nursing in 1958.  She had a profound love of life and was strong in her faith.  She was always open to helping others and being willing to help others!

She is survived by her children, Suzanne E Healy and her husband James of Colorado Springs, CO, Karl Provost and his wife Nadine of Cumberland, and USAF (ret) Lt Col Cynthia Robison, RN of Colorado Springs, CO.  She was the grandmother of James Healy, Connor Healy, Patrick Healy, Nicholas Provost, and Tyler Provost and one great grandchild, James Victor Healy.  She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Chomko of Stoneham, MA, Gervase Bulger of Narragansett, and Peter Bulger and his wife Susanne of Greenville, RI.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – South County Chapel, 1111 Boston Neck Road (Rt. 1A) Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Point Judith Rd, Narragansett at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  Visiting hours Thursday, 4-7 p.m.
