Jean M. DeLellis

90, of Cranston, passed away on August 31, 2023 at Golden Crest Nursing Home in North Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin F. DeLellis.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Irene (Spaulding) Davey. Jean graduated from St. Mary’s High School.  Upon graduating, Jean worked for Old Stone Bank in Providence for 13 years. After starting a family, Jean reentered the workforce as a business teller at Citizens Bank on Providence’s East Side for 22 years until her retirement.

She is survived by her loving children: John F. DeLellis of Florida, Stephen M. DeLellis of Cranston and Robert  J. DeLellis and his wife Katherine N. DeLellis of Coventry; her cherished grandchildren: Joseph and Gianna DeLellis and was the dear sister of the late: John J. Davey and K. Grace Lynch.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10am in St. Augustine Church, Providence.  Burial to take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours and Flowers are respectfully omitted.
