Jean A. Dermenjian

74, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved wife of thirty-six years to Manishag (Dakessian) Dermenjian. Born in Lattakia, Syria, he was a son of the late Artin and Hripsime (Topjian) Dermenjian. Jean was a welder for Anvil International of North Kingstown for twenty years before his retirement. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Carolyn H. Vartanian of Ridgefield, NJ, and Jacques J. Dermenjian of Providence. Jean was the cherished grandfather of Michael V. Vartaniuan. He was the brother of Avedis Dermenjian of Lattakia, Syria, Angel Moubayad of Boston, MA, and the late Oujian Kassardjian, Hagop, Kevork Dermenjian. His funeral will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME &Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
