, 74, of Valley St., Cranston, passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Rex J. Anastasi. Born in Providence, she was the
daughter of the late Carlo and Lucia (Diozzi) Roberti, Sr. Janet worked for the State of RI Department of Human Services and later for the Department of Motor Vehicles retiring in 2008 as a senior clerk. She was a member of the Cranston Senior Center. She was the devoted mother of Kenneth Anastasi and his wife Kyoko of Vallejo, CA and Karl J. Anastasi, Sr. and his wife Lisa of Cranston; loving grandmother of Jennifer, Karl Jr., Kyle, Alissa and the late Kristopher Anastasi; and dear sister of Carlo Roberti, Jr. of North Kingstown. She also leaves her adored cats Andy and Annie, as well as her dear and close friends. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. BURIAL WILL BE PRIVATE.
