James W. "Tremmi" Trementozzi, Sr.

83, born and raised on Trask St., Providence, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 unexpectedly at home. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph F. and Domenica (Voccia) Trementozzi.

Jim was a security guard in the banking industry for many years; and a barber to many family and friends. As a young man he attended St. Michael’s Catholic School in Providence, and over the years he and a few of his classmates looked forward meeting every month for breakfast. Jim also enjoyed golfing and was a big fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.

Jim was the devoted father of James W. Trementozzi, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Charleston, SC and Melissa J. Traupman of Rumford, RI; loving and cherished grandfather of David, Domenic, Devin, Simone and Luca; and brother of Joseph Trementozzi of CA and Donald Trementozzi of FL.

His funeral will be held on Friday, March 28th at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew’s Church, 1291 Elmwood Ave., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Friday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
