James "Ronnie" Burns

86, of Warwick, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 27, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Anatone) Burns for 57 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late James L. and Lillian (Hackett) Burns. Mr. Burns was a truck driver for BIF Industries, and he was also a mutual clerk for Lincoln Grey Hound Park (Twin River) before retiring. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War.

James is survived by his loving daughter Barbara M. DeMaio and her husband Anthony J. of Warwick. He was the cherished grandfather of Crystal M. Annear and her husband Jonathan and great-grandfather of Arthur James Annear. James was the brother of the late Dorothy Thienpont and Ruth Grace.
