Mr. Peters was a superintendant and worked for Gilbane Building Co. for 39 years, and was a member of Laborers' International Union for 61 years. He was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran and held a private pilots license.
He was the loving father of the late Janice A. Peters and the late Beverly A. Gobin and her husband Ronald of Johnston; loving grandfather of James Whiteley and his wife Sylvia, Catherine Bay and her husband Guenter, Colleen Raftery, and Theodore Whiteley III and his wife Janet; loving great-grandfather of James Jr., Rachel, Maria and Theodore IV; loving great great-grandfather of Abigail; and dear brother of the late Margaret Stark.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston at 11:30 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
