of Toronto Ave., Providence, Rhode Island, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Linda S. Quattro-Fisher. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Lloyd H. and Catherine (O’Neill) Fisher.
Jim was a self-employed general contractor for many years and was a U.S. Air Force Viet Nam veteran.
Besides his wife Linda, he was the father of Tember Haley of Michigan, Robert Fisher, Terril Fisher, Phillip Fisher and Autumn Edwin all of Wisconsin; brother of Lloyd R. Fisher of Wisconsin and the late Timothy Fisher and Julie Newkirk; and grandfather of eight. Jim was also the step-father to Aaron Washington of Cranston, RI; and three step-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4th, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, RI, followed by burial with military honors at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI. VISITING HOURS are FRIDAY MORNING from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
