JAMES DeCESARIS

James DeCesaris, 96, of Homewood Ave., North Providence, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Erika (Schmidt) DeCesaris and the late Lucy (Tarittera) DeCesaris. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Valentino and Costanza DeAngelis) DeCesaris.

Mr. DeCesaris was a tool designer, and was the founder and owner of the former James Manufacturing Company on Eagle St. in Providence for 40 years, retiring in 1996.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of James V. DeCesaris and his wife Marian of Cranston, Robert DeCesaris and his wife Nancy of Murrieta, CA, and Lucille E. Longo of West Warwick; loving grandfather of Kevin DeCesaris, Mark Longo and his wife Nicole and Brian Longo; loving great-grandfather of Francesca Lucia Longo; loving uncle of several nieces and nephews; and dear brother of the late Anna Casacalenda, Etta Pitocco, and Fred, Adolph and Vincent DeCesaris.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston Wednesday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 5-7 p.m.
