James N. Baccala Sr., 63, of Seaside Drive, Jamestown passed away on Monday, August 24, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Alfreda (Schiano) Baccala for the past 40 years. He was born in Providence a son of the late Nicholas and Mildred (DeCesare) Baccala. Mr. Baccala was the President of Baccala Concrete Corporation. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, James Baccala Jr. and his wife Lisa of Johnston and Nicole Baccala DiLibero and her husband Keith of Richmond. He was the grandfather to James III, Nicholas and Emily and brother of Lucille Hopkins of Providence and Cheryl Maxfield of Narragansett. James was also the brother in-law of Anita Klees, the uncle of several nieces and nephews, and leaves countless friends. His funeral will be held on Friday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave. Johnston at 10am. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-8pm. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
