JACQUES G. GAUTHIER

79, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Jeannine G. (Lizotte) Gauthier. Born in Manville, RI, he was a son of the late Anthime and Marie Rose (Forand) Gauthier. Jacques was a tire mechanic for Stop&Shop Boston for twenty-five years before retiring in 1999. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War era. He is survived by his loving children, Marc J. Gauthier of Cranston, Diane M. Gauthier of Cranston, Lisa J. Santagata of Johnston, Gail N. Moore of Charlotte, NC. He was the father of the late Steve G. Gauthier. Jacques was the cherished grandfather of Sarah Moore. He was the brother of Gerry Gauthier of Ponderosa, FL and the late Alfred Gauthier. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.
