Jacqueline "Jackie" (Barber) Sinapi, 80, of B Street Cranston, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre, Cranston. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to Frank Sinapi. Jackie was the devoted Aunt to many, many nieces and nephews. Born in Burlington, Vermont, she was a daughter of the late William and Edith (Lavallee) Barber. Jackie worked for Verizon for 31 years until her retirement. One of the original founders and advisors for The St. Mary's Church, CYO, she was the recipient of the CYO women of the year award and the God to youth award. She was a member of the women's auxillary Madonna della Civita Society. Mrs. Sinapi was an extraordinary minister at St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00am in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston.
