JACQUELINE "IDA" (GUARINO) COMELLA

88, of Spring Hill Drive Johnston passed away on Monday February 15, 2010 at the home of her son Robert surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Anthony Comella. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Ann (Giacalone) Guarino. Jacqueline worked for the Johnston School Department as a Teacher Aide for 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed to read and cook and loved to spend time with her family. She was the devoted mother of Rosemary Comella of Johnston, Ann Comella of Providence, Janice Comella of Johnston, Salvatore "Chuck" Comella and his wife Dale of Johnston, Michael Comella of Johnston, Robert Comella and his wife Michelle of Johnston and the late Joseph Comella; loving grandmother of six and great-grandmother of two. She was the dear sister of Mary Ventimiglia of Glocester, MA ,Ann Gaurino of Medford MA and the late Salvatore Gaurino, Frank Gaurino and Michelina Parrinello. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Grace Church Johnston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
