Jacob "Jake" Castore 88, of Tiffany Avenue, Warwick, formerly of Cranston, died Sunday, November 25, 2007 at home. He was the husband of the late Anna S. "Jean" (Baldyga) Castore. Born in Providence; he was a son of the late Leonard and Eva (Cantini) Castore. Mr. Castore was an aircraft mechanic at the former Quonset Point US Naval Air Station, North Kingstown for thirty years before retiring in 1974. He was a US Navy veteran serving during WW II. He is survived by his two sons; Jack F. Castore of Florida and Richard T. Castore and his wife Judy, of Warwick. Mr. Castore was the grandfather of Richard, John and Alicia Castore and the great-grandfather of five. He was the brother of the late Lena Paolino, Evelyn Tammaro, Tillie Paolino and Pat Castore. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston.
