56, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of thirteen years to Stephanie (Roberts) Teacher. Born in Greensboro, AL, he was a son of the late Robert A. Jones and Rosie (Teacher) Johnson. Jackson was employed in the maintenance department at the Providence Journal. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War era.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Tiandra, Chester, Crystal, all of Providence and Elijah of AL. He was the brother of Theresa McCarthy of Providence, and the late James Teacher, Joann Johnson, Delores Thomas and Linda Teacher. He leaves behind step-children and several nieces and nephews. Jackson was the grandson of the late Jack and Susie Teacher, and the nephew of Sarah Jean Field of Greensboro, AL, and the late Mary Hopper.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 11:00. Interment with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS Friday morning 9:00 -11:00 a.m.
