J. "Armand" Brouillard 80, of Lions Drive, West Warwick, died peacefully Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at home, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Concetta (DiCarlo) Brouillard. They were married for fifty-eight years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Baptista and Leona (Hebert) Brouillard. Mr. Brouillard known as "Mr. B" was employed by the West Warwick School Department as the head custodian at Providence Street Grammar School, for ten years before retiring in 1996. He was a Starter at Cranston Country Club and Midville Country Club. Armand was an avid golfer, duckpin bowler and billiards player. He was also a driver and salesman for ten years at Hood Dairy and a finishing supervisor for Warwick Dye for nine years before his retirement. Mr. Brouillard was also a competitive boxer in the early 1940's. He was a member of Club Jogues in Coventry. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, David Brouillard of West Warwick, Joseph Brouillard of Lincoln and Carol Martin of West Warwick. He was the grandfather of five. Armand was the brother of Beatrice Notorianni of Cranston and the late Loretta Brouillard, Cecil Ferretti, Edward Brouillard, Colombe Rossi, Albert Brouillard, Loraine Carvaco, Royal Brouillard and Rachel Bales. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME,1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Greenwich.
