82 of Mathewson St., Cranston passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2009. She was the beloved wife of John Iaciofano for 61 years. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Cabral) Peters and was a lifelong resident of Cranston. Mrs. Iaciofano, better known as, " Grandma " by many, greatest joy in life was spending quality time with her cherished family and preparing a great meal for her family along with her many friends. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. Beside her husband she is survived by her children, Georgia Zuena and her husband Claudio, Joan Parenteau and her husband Jason and John Iaciofano Jr. all of Cranston. She was the devoted grandmother of Melissa Saccoccio and her husband Bruce and great grandmother of Adriana, Sophia and Olivia Saccoccio. She was the sister of the late Evelyn Greth, Joseph, Frank, John, George and Mary Peters. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 9am.
