ISABEL (DER TOUMAIAN) MANASIAN
ISABEL (DER TOUMAIAN) MANASIAN, 91, of Berkley Street, Cranston, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Vahan Manasian. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Hagop and Araxie (Kinosian) Der Toumaian.
Isabel worked for the State of RI as a nursing assistant at the Eleanor Slater Hospital in Cranston for 13 years before retiring in 1980, and was an avid Red Sox fan.
She was the devoted mother of Linda A. Prout of Cranston and the late Kenneth V. Manasian; loving grandmother of Keith and Dennis Prout, both of Cranston; loving great-grandmother of Amanda and Sivani Prout; and dear sister of Edith Vartanian of Cranston and the late Alfred DerToumaian, Ruth Davidian and Hazel Sookian.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Committal Prayers on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1 Rhode Island Ave., Johnston.
Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
