IRENE S. SLATER

75, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 13, 2010 at home. She was the longtime love of Leroy Martin of Cranston. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Ruth (Charbonneau) Slater. Irene was an assembler for Comstock Industries for over thirty years. She was a member of Cranston Arc and was and intern assistant in the Pet Therapy Program.

She was the sister of Stanley F. Slater of East Providence, Ruth Comello of Scituate and the late Marion Webb and Faye Slater. Irene is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be private.
