IRENE "HELEN" BUCO

76, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2009, at Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, Providence. She was the wife of the late Raymond M. Buco, Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Victor Weisel and Irene O'Connell. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid lover of animals. She was the loving mother of Dianne Gasbarro of Cranston, Raymond M. Buco, Jr. of Johnston, Michael R. Buco of Providence and the late Linda R. Buco-DesJarlais. Helen was the cherished grandmother of Stephen M. and Marissa A. Gasbarro, Caitlin V., Nicholas J. and Kelly E. Buco- DesJarlais, Raymond M., III and Alyssa D. Buco. She was the sister of the late Walter O'Hearn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 538 Broadway, Providence and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915.
