Ilde E. (Perlini) Buontempo

97, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Buontempo. Born in Manville, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Giovanna (Palazzini) Perlini. Ilde took pride in keeping a clean house, feeding her family amazing Italian meals and making at least 35 different kinds of Christmas cookies she shared with friends and family. She provided Nonnie Day Care for her great grandchildren Ryan and Brooke. She rocked them as babies and was the head cheerleader at Ryan’s hockey games and Brooke’s gymnastic meets. They were undeniable the light of her life.

She is survived by her loving daughter Renee Buontempo Neri of Warwick, her granddaughter Melissa O’Donnell and her husband Paul of Wakefield, her great grandchildren of Ryan and Brooke, her dear sisters Janet Leite and Arlene Tortorlani both of Cranston. She was also the sister of the late Ilia Roukous.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston follow by a funeral service at 10 am in Central Congregational Church,  296 Angell St., Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4-7 pm.
