IDA DE SPIRITO

90, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday October 14, 2012 at the Cedar Crest Nursing Centre, Cranston. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Nellie (Pontarelli) DeSpirito. She is survived by her loving brothers, Anthony DeSpirito of Cranston, Alfred DeSpirito of Warwick, and Joseph DeSpirito of Coventry. Ida was the sister of the late Anna Acciardo, Julio DeSpirito, and Salvatore DeSpirito; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews including her devoted niece Dianne Broxson with whom she lived. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 245 Waterman St. Suite 306, Providence, R.I. 02906.
