91, of Providence, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Briarcliffe Manor in Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent J. "Jimmy" Salzillo. Ida was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Nazzareno and Grazia (Fecatelli) Bianchi. Mrs. Salzillo was a foot press operator at E.A. Adams for 45 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Kelly Gazzero Senior Club and Women's Guild at Holy Cross Church.
She is survived by her loving son, Vincent A. Salzillo and his wife Janice of Johnston, her cherished grandchildren, Dedra M. Durant and her husband Keith of Johnston, Danielle E. Bouressa and her husband Chris of West Greenwich, her great grandson Jack Henry Bouressa. She was also the dear sister of Santino Bianchi of Cranston, beloved mother of the late Robert S. Salzillo and sister of the late Amando, Herbert, Augustus, Angelo Bianchi, Mary Picatelli, Elena Pagliaro, Marietta Porrazzo and Josephine Bianchi.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence.
