IDA McLEOD, RN

96, formerly of Mathewson St., Cranston and Del Ray Beach, FL, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at St. Elizabeth's Home in East Greenwich. She was the beloved wife of the late Roland McLeod. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Marco and Carmella (Papparelli) D'Iorio.

Ida was a registered nurse for many years before retiring.

She was the dear sister of Phyllis D'Iorio of North Providence, Evelyn Mallozzi of Providence, and the late Susie Iannaccaro, Isaura Keats, Rose Scoppetta, Ann Petrella and Joseph, Alfred, Edward, Guerino, Amondo, Louis and Vincent D'Iorio. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday in St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston St. Cranston at 10 a.m., followed by interment at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
