IDA E. ( DiPRETE) MORETTI

93, of Mathewson St. Cranston, passed away on Friday January 21, 2011 at North Bay Manor in Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Moretti.

Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Domenic A. and Maria G. (Malone) DiPrete. Ida was employed at the former NU-Method Shirt Service of Cranston for 23 years before her retirement. Ida enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting, bingo and keno, and was a charter member of the Busy Hands Ladies Club and a member of Randall Manor Activities. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter and her three great-grandchildren.

She was the devoted mother of James O. Moretti and his wife Theresa (Terry) of Smithfield; loving grandmother of Deborah M. Robitaille and her husband Dr. Jeffrey M. Robitaille of North Providence and loving great-grandmother of Luke Thomas, Camille Anne and Blake Nicholas Robitaille; dear sister of Eleanor Aschettino of Johnston, Arthur DiPrete of Cranston and the late Nunzio, Alberic and Albert DiPrete. She was the mother of her late infant son James.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday 5-8 p.m.
