HUMAR E. MARKARIAN
HUMAR E. (HAROOTUNIAN) MARKARIAN, 94, of Richter St., Providence, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at Elmhurst Extended Care Facility in Providence. She was the wife of the late Aram Markarian and the late Givan Khatounagian.
Born in Peri, Turkey, a daughter of the late Bedros and Vartig (Pashalian) Harootunian, she came to the U.S. in 1965 settling in Providence.
She was the devoted mother of the late Manoog, Khatoun, Araxie, Souren and Yeghjah Khatounagian; dear sister of the late Givan and Levon Harootunian, Baidzar Stepanian and Mariam Kuradjian; and loving aunt of Margaret Stepanian of Providence, Leo Stepanian of Arkansas, and the late Stepan, Steven and Eugene Stepanian.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday 5-8 p.m.
Burial will be in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
