91, of Cranston, died Friday, July 9, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Papa. They were married for fifty-six years. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Filomena Comprone. Hilda was a solderer for the former Monet Jewelry Company of Providence for twenty-five years before retiring in 1981. Besides her husband she is survived by several nieces and nephews. Hilda was the sister of the late Inez Costanzo, Joseph, Salvatore and Alfred Comprone. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
