67, of East Greenwich, passed away on Saturday January 22, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family, after his battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Donna (Capuano) Plympton. Red was born in Providence, the son of the late Herbert E. Plympton, Sr. and Malvina (Gauthier) Plympton. Mr. Plympton was the owner and operator of the former Intercity Towing. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Christopher, Mark and Terilyn Plympton, Elizabeth Capuano LaFleur, Anthony and Cristine Capuano. He was also the grandfather of 4 and was the brother of Ronnie Plympton and the late Carol Franklin and Eileen Romanoff. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church, Broadway, Providence. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Greenwich. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-8 pm.
