HENRY A. SERPA

94, of Chester Ave. Cranston, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at home. He was the devoted husband of Rose (Toaste) Serpa. Born in Jamestown, he was the son of the late John and Rose (Veiera) Serpa. Henry was a WW-II Navy Veteran. He was the owner & operator of the former Serpa's Getty in Cranston for 30 years, before his retirement. Besides his wife, he was the beloved father of Mary Carlino, William, Henry and James Serpa. He was the loving grandfather of nine and loving great-grandfather of three. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:15 am in St. Ann's Church, 1493 Cranston St. Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Home & Hospice Care of RI 1085 North Main St. Providence, RI 02904.
