HENRY MAKSYMOWICZ

86, of Cranston, died Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Eva (Guglielmo) Maksymowicz. They were married for sixty-five years. Mr. Maksymowicz was employed by the US Postal Service at the Providence Turn Key Branch, Providence for many years until his retirement. Henry was a US Navy veteran serving during WW II. He was a lifelong New York Yankee fan. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter, Gwendolyn M. Longo of Pawtucket and his daughter-in-law Carrie J. Maksymowicz of Warwick. Henry was the father of the late Henry J. Maksymowicz. He was the grandfather of Brian Scott Maksymowicz and his wife Keri, Andrew Paul Maksymowicz and Albert Longo III. He was the brother of the late Mary, Zygmunt and Joseph Maksymowicz. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS Friday morning 9-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Relief Services for Haiti, P.O. Box 17090, Baltimore, MD 21203-7090.
