Henry "Enrico" Di Libero Sr., 85, of Jencks Rd., Foster, formerly of Blade St., Warwick, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia E. (Oxx) Cardiff-Di Libero and also the late Albina (DiCarlo) Di Libero.
Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Emma (Fusco) Di Libero.
Mr. Di Libero was the owner of H. Di Libero General Contracting in Warwick for 60 years before retiring. He was a WW-II Army Veteran, a member of the William Parcer Club in Warwick, and the Mariatti Bocce Club in Cranston.
He was the devoted father of Henry Di Libero, Jr. and his wife Valerie of North Kingstown, Barbara Guercia and her husband Kenneth of Cranston and Annmarie C. Di Libero and her husband Manny of Foster and stepfather of James T. Cardiff, Jr. and Christine N. Cardiff, both of Warwick; loving grandfather of 14; loving great-grandfather of 2; and dear brother of Jeanette Fortuna of Cranston and the late Marie "Mary" Soprano, Jenny Silva and Armando, Louis, Emilio, Anthony and Joseph Di Libero.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
