Henry A. "Sam" Emma

94, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Briarcliffe Manor, Johnston. He was the beloved husband of Gloria A. (Testa) Emma. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Henry and Angelina (Golotto) Emma.

He was the co-owner of the former Miller Forge Company in Providence for 22 years. He continued his career as a self-employed welder for the next 30 years. He spent many of his days at J. Broomfield & Sons and counted the owner Steve as one of his closest friends.

Besides his wife Gloria, he is survived by his loving son, Robert H. Emma and his wife Cynthia of North Providence; cherished grandsons, Matthew, Eric and Robert Emma. He was the brother of the late Ann Koeppler and Anthony Emma.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on THURSDAY MORNING from 9:00 – 10:00 pm.
