HELEN C. (PAPPAS) PSILOPOULOS-KANAVOS

93, of Woonasquatucket Ave., North Providence, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. She was the wife of the late Charles D. Psilopoulos and the late John Kanavos. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alexandros and Toula (Farmakas) Pappas. Helen worked in sales and as a secretary for All State Insurance and later at the Outlet Company. She was the mother of Dennis C. Psilopoulos of North Providence; loving grandmother of Charles and Tara; loving great-grandmother of Michael; and dear sister of Stella Lane of Miami, FL and the late Arthur and Stanley Pappas. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Service at 10 a.m. in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston. Burial will take place at a later date.
