Helen P. (Pontus) George

91, of Warwick, passed away on Friday December 2, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George George and wife of the late Antonio Pacheco.

Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Toledo) Pontus.

Helen was the beloved mother of Richard Pacheco and his companion Rose Lambert and the late Anthony Pacheco and step-mother of Donna Fiore and Linda Faber; she was the loving grandmother of four and loving great-grandmother of seven. She was the dear sister of Linda McElroy and the late Dolores Ventriglia. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Helen had compassion for everyone, her kindness and presence will be sorely missed. She enjoyed family and friends. She also enjoyed listing to Johnny Mathis, traveling, bingo, playing cards and shows at Foxwoods.

The family would like to thank Jeanne Paolo for always being there and the staff at Continuum Hospice & Palliative Care for their outstanding care and compassion.

Her funeral will be held on Friday December 9, 2022 at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church 800 Pippin Orchard Cranston at 10 AM.

Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Providence. Visiting hours our Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm.
