HELEN K. (PAPADOPOULOS) DOSTOU

82, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of fifty-three years to Louis Dostou. Born in East Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sophia (Ouloglou) Papadopoulos. Helen was a secretary at Rhode Island College for seven years before her retirement. She was a member of the Daughters of Penelope and served as a past District Governor. Helen was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church and served as a former board member. Helen was a member of Quidnessett Country Club.

Besides her husband she is survived by her loving daughters Vickie S. Hall and her husband COL John D. Hall of Lakeridge, VA and Dr. Jean M. Dostou of Durham, NC. Helen was the cherished grandmother of Jennifer A. Hall of Narragansett. She was the sister of the late George Peters.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by services in Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
