Helen (Lonardo) DiBenedetto, 92, of Johnston, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph DiBenedetto.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Luigi and Carmella (Camillio) Lonardo, she resided in Johnston since 1970.
Mrs. DiBenedetto was a past member of St. Bartholomew Women's Auxiliary and Daughters of Isabella.
She was the devoted mother of Joseph A. DiBenedetto and his wife Marie of Johnston and Joanne C. DiBenedetto-Leoni and her husband Anthony of Davie, FL; loving grandmother of Barbara Vachon, Linda Beaumier and Joseph A. DiBenedetto, Jr.; loving great-grandmother of Alexandria, Michael, Kristen and Nina; and dear sister of Sue Gabriel and Rose Trabucco, both of Providence, Laura Marocco of Johnston, Victoria DeForge of CA and the late Carmella Dionne and Frank, Michael and Luigi Lonardo.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
