HELEN (BALASCO) DeCAPORALE
Helen (Balasco) DeCaporale, 90, of Cranston, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008 at RI Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Joseph DeCaporale.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Giovannina (Piccirelli) Balasco. Mrs. DeCaporale worked as a Dietary Aide at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence for 25 years before retiring.
She is survived by her children Joseph L. DeCaporale, of Tampa, FL. and William "Bill" DeCaporale of North Attleboro, MA. five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Anthony Balasco of Warwick, Rudolph Belasco of New Jersey, David Balasco of North Providence and sister of the late Felix Balasco, Edith Tasca, Virginia DiMuccio and Victor Balasco.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
