Hayrapet Taraksian

Hayrapet Taraksian, 85, of Bain St., Cranston, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at RI Hospital in Providence.  He was the beloved husband of Gohar Taraksian.  Born in Greece, he was the son of the late Hagop and Nurik (Arabian) Taraksian.

Mr. Taraksian was a custodian at Brown & Sharpe for many years before retiring and later at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Harout Taraksian and his wife Anoush, Manoug Taraksian and Ida Taraksian, all of Cranston; cherished grandfather of Janet, Talene, Narine, Hagop and Nicholas; loving great-grandfather of Juliana and Alina; and dear brother of the late Noubar, Misak and Rupen Taraksian.

VISITING HOURS are Friday, February 18th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m.  Burial will be private.
