HARRY BAGDASARIAN

HARRY BAGDASARIAN

86, formerly of Walnut St., East Providence, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at RI Veterans Home in Bristol. He was the husband of the late Alice (Welch) Bagdasarian. Born in East Providence, he was the son of the late Setrak and Parantz (Cambazyan) Bagdasarian. Harry worked at the former Wells Jewelers in Attleboro, MA before retiring. Upon graduating from East Providence High School in 1942, he served in the U.S. Navy during WW-II. He later graduated from Johnson & Wales College in 1950. He was a member of American Legion Post # 311 in Seekonk, MA and a member of East Providence Elk's Lodge # 2337.

He was the brother of the late Bagdasar "Buddy" Bagdasarian and brother-in-law of the late Grace S. Bagdasarian. He was the uncle of Barbara G. Brewer, Nancy-Lee Chamberlain, Joyce E. Bagdasarian and Robert B. Bagdasarian; step-father of Alyson Malloy; and step-grandfather of Lauren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, followed by interment with military honors at Rumford Cemetery in East Providence.

VISITING HOURS are WEDNESDAY from 5-8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
