of Narragansett, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Hayden) Boghosian. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Bogos and Sirvart (Choukoorian) Bogosian.
Jack was the former Chief of Health Engineering for the RI Department of Health for 31 years before retiring. He was a graduate of Pawtucket East High School, the University of RI with a BS in Civil Engineering and where he was a member of the Phi Mu Delta Fraternity and Northeastern University with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering. He was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran; an active member at Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Church serving on the Parish Council and Sports Banquet Committee; and was an avid golfer.
Besides his wife Mary, he was the devoted father of Araxie B. DeBlois (Charles) of Rehoboth, MA, Dr. Rosemary Miner (Dr. Thomas) of East Greenwich and Paul H. Boghosian (Tiernan) of Providence; loving grandfather of ten; loving great-grandfather of one; dear brother of Elizabeth Kassabian of Narragansett and the late Hamayag Bogosian; and devoted uncle to several nieces and nephews.
VISITING HOURS are Friday morning in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m.
Burial with military honors will take place at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
