Hagop "Al" Altounian

HAGOP “AL” ALTOUNIAN, 90, of Cranston, RI, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Steere House Nursing & Rehabilitation in Providence.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Artin and Mariam (Kachadourian) Altounian.

Al was a buyer for the former Outlet Company in Providence for many years before retiring and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.

He was the devoted father of Debra Altounian of Providence and Cindy Ferry of Cranston; cherished grandfather of Jerilyn P. Parker and her husband Michael of Cranston and Edward H. Ferry, Jr. of Providence; loving great-grandfather of Isabella and Zachary Ferry; dear brother of Mary Alexanian and her husband Moorad of Wilmington, NC and the late Elizabeth Longo. Al is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

VISITING HOURS to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Tuesday, September 28th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.  Inurnment at North Burial Ground Cemetery in Providence will take place at a later date.
