of Wentworth Ave., Cranston, passed away Friday, July 10, 2020 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence RI. Born in Yerevan, Armenia, the devoted son of the late Vanoush and Rosa (Yesaian) Nalchadzhyan, he came to the U.S. in 1990 settling in Cranston.
Gurgen was a shoe designer in the shoe industry and served in the Armenian Army.
He was the dear brother of Svetlana Souvalian, Samuel Nalchajyan and Lena Naltchadjian, all of Cranston and Arthur Nalchajyan of Yerevan, Armenia; cherished uncle of Khoren Souvalian, Noyen Kuhn, Andranik Souvalian, Alexan Nalchadjyan, Aram Nalchadjyan, Armand Nalchadjyan, Syuzanna Nalchajyan and Vahe Nalchajyan; and loving great-uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Gurgen’s Funeral Service on Thursday, July 16th at 12 Noon in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence. (Social distancing and masks are required). Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
