GUISEPPE MARASCO
GUISEPPE MARASCO, 65, of Scituate Vista Dr., Cranston, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Helen F. (Calabro) Marasco.
Born in Calabria, Italy, a son of the late Fernando and Theresa (Scalazio) Marasco, he came to the U.S. in 1967 settling in Providence, moving to Cranston in1970.
Mr. Marasco was a retired mason and was working as a bartender at the Santa Maria DiPrata Society in Cranston. He served in the Italian Army and was a member of St. Mary's Feast Society.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Joseph Jr., Patricia, Michael, Anthony, Joanne, Donna and the late Lisa Ann Marasco; loving grandfather of 10; loving great-grandfather of 5; and dear brother of Lena, Claudio, Pasquale and John Marasco.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
