GUIDO "JACK" DAMIANI

96, formerly of Normandy Dr., Cranston, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Alpine Nursing Home in Coventry. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth (Sanson) Damiani. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Olympia (Fusco) Damiani.

Jack worked at the former Quonset Point Naval Air Station in North Kingstown as a foreman in the supply department retiring in 1973, and was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WW-II.

He was the devoted father of Jean Parisi of Newport, RI, David Damiani of Matthews, NC, and Mark Damiani and his wife Mary of Colchester, CT; loving grandfather of John Bernardo, Andrea Maglioli and Philip Bonitati; loving great-grandfather of seven; loving great great-grandfather of one; and dear brother of Eleanor Macchio of Cape Cod, MA and the late Etta Caputo, Rose Ferrara, Michael, Alfred, Mario, Anthony, Mary and Edith Damiani.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service in St. David's on the Hill Episcopal Church, 200 Meshanticut Valley Parkway on Monday at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment with Military Honors at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.

Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
