Grace I. Mitola

91, was called home to heaven, to be with our lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 20, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Mitola Sr., and Martha (Gallacher) Mitola. Grace leaves her devoted and loving sister Martha Tortolani, wife of the late Americo Tortolani Jr. She was the sister of the late Joseph Mitola Jr., husband of the late Barbara Mitola, V. George Mitola, husband of the late Dorothy Mitola, and Delores Tice, wife of the late Marion Tice. Grace is also survived by her thirteen nieces and nephews and her twenty-three great nieces and nephews. A big thank you to Cherry Hill Manor, all who cared for Grace.

Grace was a wonderful loving and kind person. Always greeting you, holding hands and a great big smile on her face. She was always ready to talk about her mama or talk about her embroidery she made by her own hand. Grace will be greatly missed. She was a member of Johnston Senior Center, Daughters of America, and the Greater RI Baptist Church.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Feb. 24th, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. followed by her Funeral Home Service at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
