GRACE (BASILICO) GENDRON

Grace (Basilico) Gendron 95, of Normandy Drive, Cranston, died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Sunny View Nursing Home, Warwick. She was the wife of the late Hubert Gendron. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Mariannina ( Palmisano) Basilico. Mrs. Gendron was a Registered Nurse at Rhode Island Hospital, Jane Brown Unit and various other facilities for over forty years until her retirement. She was a graduate of the former Homeopathic School of Nursing. She is survived by her children Therese D. Greco and her husband Benjamin and Chuck Gendron and his wife Marcia all of Cranston. Mrs. Gendron was the grandmother of five and the great-grandmother of one great-grandson. She was the sister of Vito Basilico of Johnston and the late Panfilo Basilico, Mary Angeli and Gilda Basilico. Her funeral service and burial will be private.
