Gloria M. (Castelli) Ricci, 93, of Arbor Dr. in Cranston, formerly of Coventry, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her devoted family. She was the cherished wife of the late Ralph R. Ricci. Born in Hartford, CT, Gloria was the daughter of the late Guido and Josephine (DeLuca) Castelli.
Gloria was a bookkeeper for many years. She found solace and strength in her faith, as a longstanding member of St. Rocco Church, where she placed her trust in Jesus. Among her many passions were nurturing her family, baking, and watching Hallmark Christmas movies. She also enjoyed driving classic cars and traveling to destinations such as Nashville and Dollywood.
She was a loving mother to Carolyn M. Ricci of Chepachet, Ralph R. Ricci, Jr. and his wife Karen of Johnston, Robert R. Ricci and his wife Jill of Riverview, FL, Virginia M. Gemma and her husband Joseph of Lyman, SC, and Gina M. DeTora and her husband John of Cranston. Gloria was also a beloved sister to Elaine Razza of Coventry, Virginia LaFazia of Johnston, Laura Seabury of North Kingstown, and the late Guido Castelli, Jr. She leaves behind a legacy of grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as many loving nieces, nephews. She was like a mom to all.
Her funeral to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Friday, April 26th at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rocco Church, 931 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10 a.m. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
