Gloria Marie Prignano

Gloria M. ( Garafano ) Prignano, 81, of Lowell Ave., Providence passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at home. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Erasmo and Antonetta ( Timpani ) Garafano and she was a lifelong resident of Providence. Gloria was a self-employed seamstress until her retirement. She was a communicant of Holy Cross Church and a member of the church Chorus. She was the loving mother of her three sons, Robert of Cumberland, David of Boston and William of Providence. She was the sister of Anna Celani of No. Providence, Elinora Campellone of Cranston, Raymond Garafano of MA, Carmella Read of Cranston, Robert Garafano of Warwick and the late Anthony Garafano and Grace Cicione. She left behind many loving nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence at 10:am.
