GLORIA L. (PIACITELLI) MARCOCCIO
Gloria L. (Piacitelli) Marcoccio 87, of Hi View Dr., Hope, passed away Wednesday February 4, 2009 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Andrew C. Marcoccio.
Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Augusto and Paulina (Culla) Piacitelli. Gloria worked as a seamstress and a jewelry worker for many years before her retirement. She was active in many church bazaars and functions.
She is survived by her loving children; August and Geraldine Marcoccio, and dear sister of Ida Picano, Gilda Piaciatelli, Paula Tassinari and the late Lola Pistoni, Emma Ferrante, Stephen and Frank Piaciatelli.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church 800 Pippin Orchard Rd. Cranston at 10 a.m. Visiting Hours Sunday 4-7 p.m.
